      1. In the Funding Sources column, €5.9bn is reflected for bonds as the cash proceeds (€6bn of nominal issuance) from one bond syndication and three bond auctions in 2024.

      2. Notwithstanding the dissolution of the National Reserve Fund (which was held in Exchequer Notes) and transfer of funds to the Future Ireland Fund and Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund, short-term paper is expected to show a net inflow for 2024 .

      3. EBR is the Budget 2025 estimate of the 2024 Exchequer Borrowing Requirement - the projected surplus incorporates an estimated €8bn of receipts related to the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ruling of September 2024.
