NTMA to auction two bonds on 10th September 2020

7 September 2020 – The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) announces that it will hold a bond auction on Thursday, 10th September 2020. There will be two bonds offered in the auction.

The details of the auction are as follows:

Bonds to be auctioned:

1.35% Treasury Bond 2031 (Irish Sovereign Green Bond)

and

1.5% Treasury Bond 2050

Auction size range:

€1,000 million to €1,500 million

Auction opens:

8:00 a.m.

Auction closes:

10:00 a.m.

Settlement Date:

14th September 2020

The auction will be conducted on the Bloomberg Auction System and will be confined to recognised Primary Dealers.

A non-competitive auction for 15 per cent of the amount sold in the competitive auction will immediately follow and will close at 10:00 a.m. on Monday 14th September 2020.
