NTMA to auction two bonds on 9 March 2017

6 March 2017 - The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) announces that it will hold a bond auction on Thursday, 9 March 2017. There will be two bonds offered in the auction.

The details of the auction are as follows:

  • Bonds to be auctioned: 1.0% Treasury Bond 2026 and 2% Treasury Bond 2045
  • Auction size range: €1,000 million to €1,250 million
  • Auction opens: 8:00 a.m.
  • Auction closes: 10:00 a.m.
  • Settlement Date: 13 March 2017

The auction will be conducted on the Bloomberg Auction System and will be confined to recognised Primary Dealers.

A non-competitive auction for 15 per cent of the amount sold in the competitive auction will immediately follow and will close at 10:00 a.m. on Friday 10 March.
